Photographic style of OTTO's employer and press pictures

  • Real employees, real campus. No models and no studio backdrop: the OTTO campus in Hamburg-Bramfeld, with its white atrium stairs and light wood, corridors with warm wall washers and the backlit OTTO sign.
  • Two light moods: bright, cool daylight in the white atrium for author portraits; warm amber accent light on wood and brown walls for press shoots.
  • Eye level, medium to three-quarter length, the subject centred or slightly off-centre, a shallow depth of field that keeps the background recognisable but soft.
  • Relaxed, friendly posture: leaning, hands in pockets or folded, a genuine smile, eye contact with the camera.
  • Casual clothing in dark and neutral tones (black, olive, navy, beige); no suits.
  • Light retouching, natural skin, no filters, slightly warm colours.
  • Tech topics may carry a graphic overlay, like the AI Ninjas header; plain portraits stay clean.
  • Event photos are documentary snapshots of the stand, the team and the fair light, never staged.

The matching picture style is OTTO lifestyle photo. A real, named person is never shown in a situation that did not happen.
